ACEN’S INCREASE IN RENEWABLES CAPACITY SUPPORTED BY POWER FACTORS’ GREENBYTE PLATFORM

Agreement to support Philippine-listed energy platform’s 5,000 MW renewables push in Asia-Pacific
June 1st, 2022– ACEN, the Philippine-based listed energy platform of the Ayala Group, continues to tap Power Factors’ Greenbyte performance optimization solution to manage its solar and wind capacity to improve capabilities and gain efficiencies across its operations. ACEN uses the Power Factors’ Greenbyte solution to bolster solar and wind performance by centralizing and analyzing data, detecting anomalies, and unlocking productivity.
ACEN’s nearly 590 MW of solar and wind capacity currently monitored by the Greenbyte solution includes: 18 MW MonteSol in Negros Oriental, 80 MW IslaSol in Negros Occidental and 45 MW SacaSol in Negros Occidental, 63 MW Palauig Solar in Zambales, 120 MW Alaminos Solar in Laguna, 54 MW Guimaras Wind in Guimaras, 81 MW North Luzon Renewables and 52 MW NorthWind in Ilocos Norte, and 75 MW Sidrap Wind in South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
The Greenbyte performance monitoring and analytics tools will also be integrated at an additional facility in Luzon, ACEN’s 4 MW Bataan RE Tech Hub, which will test energy and storage technologies ahead of large-scale deployment.
